I am mother, wife, and educator. I have been married for 15 years to Chad. We were “babies” when we got married (20 and 21). It is safe to say that Chad and I have grown up together. He has supported me through my bachelor’s in special education and 1st master’s degree in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Currently, he is one of biggest supporters through my 2nd master’s in educational technology. We have 2 wonderful sons, Cody and Caleb. Cody is 12 and loves to play sports and draw. He is also our social butterfly. Caleb is 8 and loves animals especially dogs and take pictures.
As soon as I graduated with my bachelor’s degree, I began my teaching as a special education teacher for Decatur Public School district. I spent nine years in the classroom. Five years ago, I became an instructional coach. During the 2012-13 school year, five instructional technology coach positions were created. I was blessed to be placed in this position. Currently, I provide job-embedded support and professional development instructional technology. I truly love my job.
